Now there's one in Georgia -- Green Breasted Mango
Now that number is 12. On Oct. 25, a couple in Dublin, Ga., noticed a strange hummingbird visiting their feeder. They contacted Bob Sargent, who with his wife Martha, founded the nonprofit Hummer/Bird Study Group in Alabama in 1994. Bob arrived on Monday, Oct. 29, and was able to identify and band Georgia's first ever green-breasted mango.

Green Breasted Mango to the Zoo
Well I'm in the "should have left it alone" camp. This was a wonderfully wild hummingbird who was visiting someone's hummingbird feeder in Wisconsin. Now it's in a Zoo. Wrong answer. It should have been left to fend for itself and figure it out. That's what the wild is.

The South American hummingbird that enchanted hundreds who traveled to Wisconsin to catch a glimpse of the green-breasted mango has a new home at the Brookfield Zoo.
The Hummingbird Sonata
Most people see hummingbirds only at their feeder or on flowers. Check this brief intro video out. Wish it were longer.
